Originally offered as an option for the UK-specification MK3 models, this set of genuine Andover Norton fork gaiters are suitable for retrofitting to the revised 1971-later Commando forks.
These top-quality heavy-duty rubber fork gaiters measure approximately 7-1/2″ long, with an ID of 1-3/8″ at the top and 1-3/4″ at the bottom. Made in the UK.
Most US-specification Norton Commando forks were supplied with a short rubber boot on each fork lower leg designed to prevent contaminants from fouling the oil seals. The long pleated fork gaiters are a popular upgrade for 1971-onward models as they provide superior protection from the elements.
Although the heavy-duty rubber requires some stretching to install on 1971-onward Triumph and BSA models with aluminum fork lower legs, these gaiters can also be adapted for these applications. Generally, the front fork must be partially diassembled to fit the gaiters. Refer to the factory workshop manual for installation details.

These fit great on my Tiger. They will go oer the fork tubes but they are tight, so some finesse is needed. The upper end I used a black plastic zip-tie on each side to keep them up. Look great and the zip-ties you can’t see.
